Product Description Tootin' Our Laser We don't like to brag, but it's tough not to in a case like this. This is a wonderful pen-shaped laser pointer, 5-1/4" long, flat black or silver with gold pocket clip and head. It throws a red point a loong way (we've thrown it two city blocks at night, and it would've gone farther, but buildings got in the way). And what are we so proud of? We've seen a very similar item-not identical, mind you, but essentially the same-in one of those glossy, toys-for-grown-men catalogs. Their price? $40! We're proud not to be profit-mongers, buy it here and you can take pride in your smart shopping habits. Batteries included. (Please note color change to include silver.)

Cheap and does the trick January 29, 2009 U2pop (Atlanta) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this because I wanted the cheapest possible laser pointer for my cats. I couldn't find anything for less than $15 in the stores so I took a chance and ordered this one at $6.52 which came to a grand total of $8.97. It works. Comes in a very nice wooden case and a sturdy construction. Not much more you can expect in a laser pointer. The cats, however, love it.
just perfect March 23, 2010 J. Davies 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I went to office depot and bought a laser for $23....it was a plastic piece of crap. I went on line to see if I could find something, and I did. You can't beat the price and the lasers are built solid. The only issue I have is that I go thru batteries pretty quick, but I'm a teacher and use it all the time. You certainly want a laser that uses AAA batteries, if you get the ones with watch type batteries, you're buying something hard to get sometimes.
I bought 3 of them for the price of one from Office depot.....it gave me free shipping : )
<5mW 650nm red laser pointer January 24, 2010 Mark D. (Phoenix, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have ordered 1 of these but i accidentally ordered 2 but I'm actually considering keeping them both. I also bought this and got it the next day without paying extra shipping. (Item was already in Phoenix, AZ, They just handed it over to USPS, May vary with where you live) 5* Shipping!
Pros: The laser is REALLY good quality and the dot is quite visible for 100+ feet during night. The battery's last a really long time. The battery's that came with the device is really good quality and i have not had to replace any of them yet. I love the wood box it came with, its really good quality. I like the metal on this product it gives it a really nice feel in your hands. The weight is really nice for this product because it gives it a authentic feel.
Cons: The screw threads for the battery holder is poorly threaded and will wear off after a while. I'm scared if I drop this it might break the threads and will not be repairable. The box's corners is really sharp and should be dulled down.
Thoughts: I'd consider you buy this for the price its really good and you get a Max Output <5mW laser pointer.
It does what it promises March 23, 2009 Temel Kaya Yasar (Chicago, IL) Handling is easy, batteries last longer than smaller laser pointers, my cat loves it. So what do you expect more?
LASER FOR UNDER $10.00?! March 29, 2009 Robert C. Gambogi (Tucson, Arizona) I'm old enough to remember when a LASER was some nearly science fiction thing that would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now you can get one under $10.00. What a world! Of course it doesn't burn holes through inch-thick steel but is a wonderfully accurate pointing device.
